Mussorie! travel through hill roads

The other day I was in a foul mood and the best medicine for my bad mood is a travel plan. So I was sitting room and thought about a trip and discussed with my friends, instantly thought of a place which is nearby and I had not explored in the recenttime. The thought of  Mussoorie crept in my head! I didn’t take a moment and immediately shared my great idea with a friend and a colleague and was plessure to hear their reactionexept a few. once our beloved sachin tendulkar told about musoorie, and he told that that was his favourite place he love to spent his vacations there, till that moment on wards it was my extreme wish to visit mossoorie and also of our friend muhammed ali shihab ias usually mention about mosoorie  were he spent his training period after qualifing for indian administrative service and they will be trained in lal bahdur shasthri national acadamy for administration, he was very intrested in nerrating its bueaty  as it is located near himalayan valley as its view. but as we google it we came to knew nothing there isn’t much to see in Mussoorie.  Surely this strengthened my thought that I need to travel to Mussoorie for sure now to prove that google is wrong about Mussoorie. Now, if you are wondering how I was able to convince  am friends we can enjoy traveling at least ...  I didn’t have to make any effort!my tean here in delhi university  is the best blessing one could ever have, and in my case it's  proved! As soon as I suggested my sudden travel plan to macahanzz, they  agreed immidiately and we had our un planted trip . even many of frinds do not have single bucks.even though we were not prepared most of out trip will be in great sucsess . that made my friends think possitive enough. The trip was so amazing which I will be narrating in the next section but staying at Mussoorie was an enachanting experience.

Go now to Mussorie! A quick gateway from the hectic city life, soothing greenery and if you are in a mood to explore, this place should be definitely on your agenda. i suggested most of my friends mossorie is one of the best place. we can travel to mossorie by various ways, by air, rail or by road.the nearest airport and railway station is n dehradun.we chose the road option we were very happy the reasson was simple, we normally had very good experiences on the highway to most of the northern hill stations but major part of the road from delhi to mossorie is one way which makes the drive strenous to add on the woes, the road pasess through three to four populated towns so that trafic will be great threat. we stated a  our trip arround 12 at night from delhi kashmiri gate inter state bus terminal and arround twofifty for the tickets and we were around five poeple and we got seated in the middle of the bus and reached at five early in the morning at dehradu. as by the experinced manoj lal our cars driver and guide told all over the year you can visit mussoorie. the winte hadarrived in oct-nov buit it wasnt chilly.and he warned as :beware dec-jan will be in extreme cold seasson.the best seasson to travel to mossorie in in the summer at these tome mossorie has pleasant weather, and this is the most popular tourist destinations of india so the seasson will be crowded, in caise you sre not comfortable with the crowd please try to visit in jul-aug.
mossorie is generally cold and the winter starts early. do take warm clothing to avoid any un comfortable sitation. however like any other hill station the place have ample number shops for you to buy the stuff but please as a tourist area its too coastly but food little cheep considering other tourist destinations.
as we planned earlier that our trip will be one day trip will not extent, more than that due to our financial shortage
its is very pleasant to stay in mossorie and one of the great exposure herre, and as plenty of options to stay in mossoorie suiting every budget there are many hotels and resorts royal orchid, hill roads, there are many resorts those are heritage properties and are very near to city if you are not willing to spent much on hotels you will find many good budget hotels such as himalayal club, mossoorie palace and we will be improssed with hospitality and the outside natural view the thing is that if you are taking a room please ask for a room faceing himalaya and you will be happy to wake up early in the morning and face mighty himalaya in your frond with fully covered in snow and it resombles lika a igloo man.while walking to mall road which is one of the important atraction of mossoorie you will find many shoping sites, food courts, and and we find a barber shop near by were forighners run and thier hair cutting is very diffrent in style, with my team yoosuf ali we planned to cut our hair from there in turkish model for it we shuold pay hundred bucks it was more than double than the coast in delhi, in abow picture you can nitice that hair style.

Street Food

the street food is simply amazing, try all kinds of chats or hot gulab jamuns or milks topped with malai. there is couple of nice restaurants in the mall road. kalsang is one such restaurant. their specialty is Tibetan food. on the mall road to try the omelette of the lovely omelette center. there omelettes are a rag. they have been featured in many  well known travelogues.
After a heartiest breakfast, we just stopped for a couple of times for a tea and reached noon food.mussoorie is a small hill station so secluded or non secluded doesnt makes much sense. you could easily cover whole  place on a rickshaw.
Mussoorie is a starting point for many other beautiful hill stations.35 kms from mussoorie you will reach dhanaulti. The way  to Dhanaulti is completely covered this area .if you move a bit further. kanatal is place which you could explore. these hill stations are still untouched. so for a peaceful travel experiance opt for these two destinations.

closure line

truly called as "Queen of the hills" mussoorie should be visited atleast once in your lifetime. not just for the scenic beauty but only for its name. A rather sleepy city where people are more relaxed compared to other hill stations .
